The CNMI State Workforce Development Board, in collaboration with the Department of Labor Workforce Investment Agency, invites public comment on proposed revisions to key policies in response to findings from the 2024 Monitoring Review. These updates aim to strengthen compliance, enhance program effectiveness, and improve service delivery within the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth programs, as well as the National Dislocated Worker Grant Quality Jobs, Equity, Training, and Strategy (NDWG QUEST) program.

The proposed revisions clarify the requirements of the WIOA State Workforce Development Board and outline allowable training activities for the NDWG QUEST program. Stakeholder input is essential to ensuring these policies reflect best practices and meet the needs of job seekers, employers, and training providers. The draft policies are available for review below and at www.labor.cnmi.gov. A 30-day public comment period is now open, and comments may be submitted below in the comments section or via email to cnmiswdb@dol.gov.mp. For more information, please contact the DOL Workforce Investment Agency at 670.488.1710/1720 or email cnmiwioa@dol.gov.mp.
